Our commitment to your privacy
Your privacy is important to us here at Tinies UK Limited, trading as "My Ohana". We handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our privacy policy explains how we collect, store and handle your personal data.
Why we collect your data
We want to give you the best possible experience with My Ohana. The data we hold about you helps us answer your enquiry, arrange your visit, care for the children we look after, and work with the businesses whose workplace crèches we run.
How we collect your data
We collect information in a few ways, including where you share information with us. This can be a completed website enquiry, booking, registration or job application form, an exchange of business information such as a business card, or as part of a genuine opportunity. To care for children we do hold sensitive data, including personal and health details, with extra safeguards.
How we store your data
This website is hosted by Vercel and keeps no database of what you send us. Website enquiries, bookings and registrations go to our enquiry system, Hiive. Where a nursery does not yet use Hiive, your enquiry is emailed to that nursery. Job applications are emailed to our people team. Registration fees paid online are taken by Stripe.
Within our nurseries, children's records, including personal details, health information, emergency contacts, attendance and learning observations, are securely stored in our childcare management system provided by Famly. Famly stores data using encrypted, secure systems in the UK and/or EEA and processes information in line with the UK GDPR. Access to children's records is limited to authorised staff only.
Some of our providers store data on servers outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK, the safeguards UK data protection law requires are in place.
Know your rights
You have rights regarding your personal data: to see what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. Our privacy policy explains each right and how to exercise it or complain.
